The Monday "blues," we've all had them. Instead of dwelling on them, let's turn the blues into a ray of sunshine. Sometimes in order to prevent crying, you have to have a big heap of laughter. In these instances, I will introduce you to the different types of people that we encounter in the work place who at times can give you the blues. I will give you my witty perspective on dealing with gossip, negativity, drama and even an occasional theft of your lunch too. So, pour out that coffee in your cup and pour yourself a cup of laughter! After all, laughter truly is the best medicine and I'm here to give you a huge cup of it!!
Kala Stevenson has spent over 20 years in a professional business environment. Over a period of time she has come to realize that people have distinct personalities, behaviors, idiosyncrasies, quirks and uniqueness. This is her first novel inspired by her experiences as well as friends and relatives who have encountered the workplace blues. She is a Memphis Tennessee native with a witty and humorous outlook on life. When she's not silently laughing at her coworkers who burn popcorn she is enjoying her life. Kala is also preparing for her second novel which hasn't been named yet. In her spare time, outside of writing, you can find Kala riding her motorcycle "Tenacious K" solo or with other motorcycle enthusiasts, traveling, and entertaining friends and family. She also likes to to sew and go down to the Mississippi River to relax when time permits.
