Author Biography
Melissa R. Dashiell, the youngest of five daughters, was born and raised in Batesville, Indiana. It was while living in Indiana that she met her husband, who serves in the USAF. Soon after marriage she moved to an area near Emerado, North Dakota, which is the setting for her adventurous Moosa series. While living in North Dakota, Melissa was blessed with her son who is the inspiration behind the Moosa character. Melissa now resides in Oklahoma with her husband and son. They have welcomed a daughter to their family who contributes interesting points of views to Melissa's stories.
