Gray's Pottery 6" 1940's Painted Grapes Vase
Good condition , one very small chip on base as shown in photograph .
This is probably Gray's lustre pattern number A8481, a design from
1947, almost certainly by Sam Talbot NRD, Gray's Art Director at that
time.
The 27.5mm wide Clipper backstamp as shown was in use from 1945-50.
The 'E' signature is that of the late
paintress Ethel Daymond.
