Writings of My Great Grandfather

How many times can a person have the opportunity to publish a great grandfather's thoughts? I am just that person but came across this opportunity by both chance and Divine Intervention. Regardless of how I arrived, I would like to introduce my Great Grandfather who lived from 1885 to 1980. During his life, he wrote poems, thoughts, quips and toasts about his everyday life. I was 15 years old when he passed and 23 years old when his son, my grandfather, gave me a special gift that comprised his writings during his 94 years of life. My Great Grandfather's writings are insightful, humorous, religious, loving, motivating and filled with both self worth and self knowledge. While my Great Grandfather would be 130 years today, his thoughts continue to inspire me. His simple way of explaining life's complexities, with his common man's approach, is heartwarming. I can't wait to share with you a man that has reminded me that family matters, friends are forever, love is pure and God exists regardless of which century you were born or will be born.
