Out of print research article from a retired doll publication features the story of Italian Marazzi Bambola Magica felt dolls produced in the early 20th century known for their unique mechanics, namely shoes that have wheels, making them appear to move, walk or skate and incorrectly called "walking Lenci" dolls. Also includes other antique walking dolls with bisques heads.
Full color photographs and historical information.
Seventeen original (not a copy) pages on high quality magazine-gloss paper are in excellent condition.
Article will be backed with cardboard, placed in an acid-free page protector for your binder and marked "Do Not Bend" on outside.
