Design Asylum Irregular Choice Black Wool SPATS WITH BUTTONS Size 40.5 Orig Box

I had to list these as heels because eBay makes no category for SPATS. THESE ARE 18” to 20” tall spats that would easily come up to just under the knee.

These spats are made of a heavy black wool, lined in a plaid that has metallic threads in it. It feels like it’s nylon. Perhaps it is even is water-resistant. In one of them, on the inside, there are some stains —and on the other it’s only one very small stain. All of that if shown in the photos.

There were not many of these made, and the previous owner of these says she ordered them from New York, who then had to order this size from the U.K. PLEASE measure your calves and ankles of to ensure that these will fit. The wide Velcro around the bottom of the foot is adjustable 3.5” to 5.25” on just the Velcro part. 3.5” to 4” seems the most likely setting. Across the top of the foot there’s another 8”.

The ankle measures 11”. The calf measures 16”.

Very limited release by Irregular Choice. I believe they only sold them in their stores in NY & London—and obviously discontinued.
