Fabulous wall mask in majolica ceramic, entirely modeled by hand, glazed and decorated by hand, finally finished with metallic gilded enamels and acid lustres, signed "Pulli" on the back, made by Claudio Pulli, famous Sardinian artist, in the second half of the 20th century , in archaic - ethnic style, similar to African makonde masks, usually made of wood.

Information on artist and/or manufacturer:
Claudio Pulli was born in Puglia and trained first at the Tavolara school and later in Faenza where he perfected the techniques of engobe, glazing, lead coating and tin enamel. Operating in Sardinia in Selargius, in the province of Cagliari, he has participated in many fairs and organized various personal exhibitions, one even in Tokyo, offering his unique pieces inspired by the archaic craftsmanship of Sardinia. Very often our prices are lower than what we could achieve by taking the objects to auction houses, but selling at auction is an extremely long process and does not produce any customers for us, so we prefer to earn less, but aim to create a excellent clientele over time, earning more on the quantity than on a higher profit on the single piece, which we could obtain by selling it in auction houses.
