This is an original press photo. Develop new turbo-prop -- East Hartford, Conn.: This aircraft propeller for gas turbine engines has been developed under U.S. Navy auspices by Hamilton Standard division of United Aircraft Corp. Known as the Hamilton Standard Turbo-Hydromatic, the propeller recently passed a 110-hour Army-Navy type test. Company officials said June 30 that the turbo-hydromatic is the prototype of a new propeller family, designed to accommodate the high powers of the present-day gas turbine engines (Connecticut)Photo measures 7.25 x 9inches.
