This is a gavel block made from Hardwood [from memory  think Cherry]

Manufactured by Pyroform Ltd  [LaserGuild] England

On the front inscribed with the wordings as follows

   Southern Forest Products Association and

  Western Wood Products Association and their emblems

In the center is the flag of United States

This was given to me in the 70/80 when attended a meeting at Basford Hall College Nottingham when a man

from either Southern / Western gave a talk on The Grading Rules for American Lumber

This is a rare piece and would be collectable item for the right person /business
