Fantastic early antique German Papier Mache milliners model type doll c1850.

She measures approx 14.5" ( 37cm) tall.

She has blue painted eyes a lovely painted mouth and moulded black hairstyle.

There is some cracking to her papier mache shoulder head but this is very normal for the age of this doll and is stable.

Her nose is a bit damaged. 

Her leather body with wooden arms & legs is in wonderful condition, one foot has been re-glued back on but otherwise has no repairs that I know of.

Her pink dress is original but her under slip is newer.  Her wool stockings have been repaired but do have moth holes, these could be removed though.  She has brown leather shoes which are a bit worn looking. 

 She has been kept in a glass cabinet in a smoke free home so is clean with no bad smells.
