I’m really not sure about Mario, but I am in awe of how he gets away with it. This blatant hooligan goes around literally jumping on the heads of bystanders, is dependent on huge amounts of performance enhancing psychotropic mushrooms to function on a daily basis and even speaks with the kind of ludicrously affected stereotyped accent that would have my EDI overlord at work sending me for compulsory Diversity and Equity training within a heartbeat. And yet most people still seem to think that the Super Mario Sunshine emanates from his portly posterior - remarkably the view that he’s a cutesy kid friendly icon even seems widespread. How does he do it?

.anyhow if you do like Mario, you’ll love this whopping wii family bundle. One OG Wii console (GC posts) in sleek white, with all the usual power and wiring trimmings, along with 4 wiimotes. Three are of the genuine Nintendo variety, one a decent 3rd Party (Venom iirc) version, and all tested as working well. Plus two primo Nintendo nunchucks, and four wheels - in various shades and types; choose your wii wheel weapon wisely.

Add in a powerhouse gaming selection, heavy on the Mario. You’ll get stone cold classics Mario Kart and New Super Mario Bros in there, but also Mario Soccer Charged and Power Tennis to boot. As always Mario seems less than an ideal role model here - far be it from me to suggest to that success in automotive racing shouldn’t be so dependent on finding shortcuts in track design or shooting competitors up the wazoo with homing shells. Max Verstappen will get ideas tbh. Sick of the moustache ? No fuss - there’s also WI Sports, Lego Batman, Rabbids, SpongeBob and plenty more to keep you occupied.

Games are in a mixed condition. Some near perfect, others with occasional light marks and missing manuals. Wii Sports and Power Tennis have reprinted inserts iirc. Have tested the most obviously scratched./marked discs (admittedly less than exhaustively) and all appear to play without issues.
