Selling part of my childhood.   Mom worked for a local  FINA distributor and received this as part of a promotion.

I did test the radio. It takes a common 9v battery.  Assuming you can find an AM radio station, it does work with reasonable, for the time, fidelity from the speaker on the top.  The tuning sensitivity is very fine, so you will need to be slow in tuning it.  The bottom battery compartment opens with a slight twist. Otherwise, I do not believe it has even been used.

It has been out of the box a very few time just to review it.  It has been in its original box, with the original bubble wrap, for MANY years.  I am the only owner.  It is and has been in a smoke free house in an air-conditioned dust free home office in the basement...simply sitting on a shelf.

Please review the pictures for conditions.  The radio itself is in immaculate condition. There appear to be no scratches, smudges, discoloration, dents, or rips in the coating or the can, but the coating is very slightly loose at the switch... which I believe is from the original manufacture...it has been very rarely handled and I don't think it was every played until I tested it for this listing.

That is the original box, the original bubble wrap, and the original warranty and instruction card.  The box is in very good condition.   (It has been simply sitting on a shelf, unopened. )

Note the battery terminals are not corroded.  It was not stored with a battery connected.

I'll ship USPS Ground Advantage at about 9 oz. or at a little more that $6.

I do not accept returns
