Massive Blue Stoneware Bowl - Marked 0112 USA - Cobalt Blue Glazed inside & out
This bowl is difficult to photograph. It looks like a different shape and different color and different sizes in the photos. And it doesn’t even fit in my photo box. The main photo was taken in the photo box with bright light. It’s so pretty and so huge. It weighs 6.5 lbs; it’s 12” diameter across the top; 6” from countertop to rim.
This magnificent bowl is not new. It came to me from my parents’ estate. It has no chips or cracks that I can see. It does have tiny scratches in it, no bigger than fine hairs. Any old china or stoneware would have these scratches, if it was used. It really is a shiny blue bowl (unless you’ve got it under a magnifying glass).No chips, cracks or crazing. Please see photos and description for detail on condition. I am selling it AS IS. This is a vintage bowl from probably the 1950s or 60s.
