Thankyou for looking at this HP 250 G5 Laptop computer.

A laptop in very good condition that has been well used and well looked after.  It hasn't travelled much.  The previous owner purchased it as new and has looked after it with care.  Ideal for document editing, office work, home administration, web browsing, spreadsheets, online research and light gaming.  Fantastic as a home learning device.  Can play games that do not require high performance graphics.

In case you wanted to disassemble for upgrade, I will advise I noticed the previous owner has attempted this and managed to lose some of the chassis screws and there is a small hairline crack in the edge of the casing.  You can't see the damage when the laptop is in normal use, only as you try to take it apart - which I did to install the SSD.  This won't affect your use of the laptop.

This computer is based on an Intel Core i3 5005U 2.00ghz processor with 4 cores.  The Laptop has been fully refurbished.  This Laptop has an authentic Windows 10 installation and has been professionally re-installed.  The original Windows 10 1607 was upgraded to Windows 10 22H2 and a digital license has been obtained.

This laptop is in full working order.  The battery has around 60 mins of life and the lifetime does seem to reduce whilst the laptop is powered off, which is reasonably normal.

The SSD is brand new and has practically a full working life ahead of it.

Due to eBay's absolutely ridiculous new policy - I cannot install ANY other software.  Not even software that is a free download or is legally licensed for use with the laptop.  They can't explain to me why - but they suspend my account and accuse me of counterfeiting when I try to help my customers in this way.

Known faults

This laptop is in full working order.  The battery lasts around 60 mins.

**:  Disk space.  All hard disk sizes are quoted pre-formatted.  They may appear to have less space available in normal use.  For example, the file system reserves some space and some space is occupied by the operating system, drivers, onboard recovery (if installed) and other applications.  This is standard industry practice and not a fault or mis-representation.  Not all disk space is available to you as storage.  Please ask for more details if you are uncertain.

*:  This laptop has had more than 8 hours of use during the system build and has shown to be stable.

Extras

To make full use of the laptop, you don't require any additional parts.  You will need a WiFi password to connect to the internet.

DELIVERY:

Collection is possible if you wish to avoid the postage charge.

Item dispatched within 3 days of payment - often within 48 hours.  Usually by UPS or a similar courier who can take between 1 and 3 days for delivery.  

I don't offer international delivery on this item due to potential license restrictions.

NOTE ON RECOVERY:

HP recovery partition is intact and available to use,  If you need to reinstall Windows 10 the recovery partition will take you back to release 1607 which you can then update.  I can provide a Windows 10 DVD at nominal extra cost but it will be unbranded.  Windows product key is digital and device will activate once connected to the internet.  As the system is provided 'ready to run' - I will charge extra for any assistance you may require with recovery to factory settings.

REFUNDS / CHANGE OF MIND:

If you change your mind or wish to return the laptop for any reason:

* You must use the same or better packaging to suitably protect the laptop during transit.  Where manufacturers original box is supplied and then lost/destroyed, this WILL result in a deduction from refund and this isn't negotiable.

* The cost of return shall be at the buyers expense.

* If it is found the laptop has been used for more than the purposes of reasonable testing - for example, if it has become virus infected, or has had software titles added which cannot be easily removed - then a charge for refurbishment will be deducted from any refund due.  Refurbishment costs on this model are £40.

Suitable for Windows 11:  No.
