The Lunar Quasar 546 Caravan from 2011 is a popular and well-regarded model known for its spacious layout, practical features, and comfortable living space. Manufactured by Lunar Caravans, the Quasar 546 offers a versatile and enjoyable caravaning experience for travel enthusiasts. The exterior of the Lunar Quasar 546 showcases a sleek and streamlined design. It features an aerodynamic profile that aids in fuel efficiency while also giving the caravan a modern and attractive appearance. The caravan may have large panoramic windows that allow ample natural light into the interior and provide panoramic views of the surrounding scenery.

This is a large caravan, but for its size, Lunar has managed to keep its total weight (MTPLM) to just 1420kg, therefore it could be towed with an averaged sized 4x4 or large estate car. Included in the sale are most of the extras you'll need for a caravanning holiday: 25m hook up cable, Aqua roll, waste master, and hitch lock, gas bottle, and caravan step, Water hook up, Wheel Lock, Wheel chocks and levelling ramp for uneven pitches, Leisure Battery, Towing Mirrors, Kampa Rally Club 260 Porch Awning (Blue), Waste pipe-work and new tyres.

It will suit a family looking for a large caravan to use for extended caravan holidays.  Its size also makes it ideal for a seasonal pitch, as a great alternative to a static caravan.

In the caravan, the sleeping arrangements provide a real home from home feeling. The large, private end bedroom has a set of triple bunks with comfortable mattresses for total sleeping comfort for the children. A generous dinette with a full width seat on one side and a single seat opposite, gives the kids room to eat and play but if one of the children is outgrowing the bunks, the dinette converts into a good sized single bed. There is also ample storage in the overhead aircraft style lockers and under the seats.

The Quasar 546 enjoys a clever side washroom layout in the mid-section of the caravan. The shower cubicle is a good size and the toilet cubicle has a Thetford toilet (electric flush), sink and vanity unit.

As you would expect, there is a well-appointed kitchen with 3 way large fridge (with freezer compartment). There is an oven, grill and hob.  An eye level built in microwave oven is situated above the workspace. There is ample food/utensil storage and worktops. Opposite the kitchen, there is a wardrobe with more storage.

The lounge has deep comfortable sofas and is perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal with family or friends using the dining table provided. It has two single beds for smaller children or a large double utilising a pull out slat system mounted under the chest of drawers, which has a fold-out table. There is plenty of storage in the overhead aircraft style lockers and also under the seats. There is a large roof light creating an airy and light feel to the living area. The detachable carpets have a wood effect vinyl flooring underneath. The light coloured soft furnishings come complete with extra scatter cushions. There is a factory fitted CD/radio entertainment system with 2 x TV points.

The windows, roof lights and stable door all come with fly screen and blackout blinds. There is an on-board water tank, large front locker, tinted privacy windows, awning light, external Gas BBQ socket, alloy wheels with good tyres (new in 2022), spare wheel and Al-Ko chassis with an Al-Ko 3004 stabiliser. The caravan has a gas-assisted hand brake and 13 pin towing electrics plug.

The Truma space heater/blown air heater and water heater can both run off electric and gas.

The Kampa Rally Club 260 Awning is light-weight with steel poles and is in good condition It is made from high-quality Weathershield fabric material

It is ideal for weekend and touring caravanners due to both it's convenient size and easy setup - only short sections of the poles need to be threaded into the awning sleeves and clipping the steel legs into place is a breeze. The Rally 260 gives your caravan that extra room, with a width of 2.6 metres and a depth of 2.5 metres - providing 6.5 square metres approximately of additional space that can be used for extra storage or getting that outside feeling whilst relaxing with a meal and a drink. The design of the Rally 260 means that much of this space is usable. With a door on both sides, access to your caravan remains both easy and convenient. It has adjustable front legs. These adjustable legs are so useful when the ground you are pitching on either slopes toward or away from the caravan. Because the poles can be adjusted to compensate for the sloping ground they help to maintain a good fit between the awning and the caravan reducing unwanted draughts.

The awning has been used but is still in good condition with plenty of life left in it. It is very easy to put up, and comes complete with awning skirt, additional new roof storm poles and additional new rear upright poles and pegs.
