Egermann Czech Bohemian Ruby Red Cut To Clear Decanter with Stopper and 6 Cordial Glasses. The glasses are uniquely hand decorated.

The Egermann company, which dates back to the early 18th century, still specializes in hand-decorated glass. Egermann's main and most famous invention, dating from 1832, is the 'red colouring' process, whereby the deep ruby red colouring on the surface of each piece is decorated with baroque patterns using cutting and engraving processes. Egermann is the world's leading manufacturer of the 'red colouring' process. Egermann specializes exclusively in the production of hand-decorated glassware.

The decanter is 15.75” tall with the stopper, 12.25” tall without the stopper, and 3.25” diameter base. The decanter is in very good condition, no chips or cracks. There is a slight scuff mark at the bottom (see last picture).

The stopper is in very good condition, no chips or cracks.

The 6 cordial sized glasses are uniquely hand decorated and handmade. They are in very good condition, no chips or cracks. Because of how they are produced, the sizes and decorating vary a bit. 3 glasses are 3 15/16” tall; 2 glasses are 4 1/8” tall; and 1 is 4” tall. They are all 2 1/8” in diameter at the opening. Please see pictures for best depiction of the variation in decorating.
