1985 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Pick-up truck. 5-speed manual transmission. Truck is in excellent condition. The frame and body is rust free. Only (2) small rust spots are visible along the front windshield glass seal. There are a few paint chip, and small, 1/2" spots on hood, where the clear coat has lifted.. See pictures.
The car has a salvaged title, due to minor damage to the bed area, at the rear right fender. There was no damage to the frame.
Due to the insurance not willing to repair the damage, a salvage title was issued.
The bed was replaced and repainted and bed liner paint applied. In order to match the front, the gray area was also repainted. The front white paint is still factory original.
There were no modifications made to the drivetrain. The truck was raised approx. 2" and can be lower to stock height easily.
Special shocks installed to accommodate the raised modification.
Everything works. The Birfield axle joints and the suspension was serviced recently.
Brakes, driveline and muffler system are in good condition. The emission system is original. Truck will be smogged, if sold in CA.
The interior is in excellent condition. The seats show minor wear in a few spots due to use and age. No rips in seat covers.
The dash is in good condition, with only one 1/2" crack at in the middle, at the front edge, close to the windshield. A dash cover was installed for most of the cars live, for protection against the hot Ca sun. Truck has been in Ca all its life. See picture.
Headliner and sun visors are clean, undamaged. All gages and sound system works. All glass is free of damage.
2nd owner, maintained and garaged since new. (Purchased from original owner in 1985 at 10,000 miles).
