This exquisite Sessions antique mantle clock features a stunning black finish and intricate detailing. Made from wood, brass, and gilt materials, this 8-day clock is key-wind and strikes the number of each hour then strikes once on the half-hour. The clock has a rectangular shape with lion head handles, measuring 14.5 inches in length, 10.5 inches in height, and 6 inches in width.

The clock is from the early 20th century and was made in Connecticut. It has a mechanical key wind movement and comes with the pendulum. I do not have a key to wind it. I have had it running for several days and it kept time and struck the hours like it should, but accuracy is not guaranteed. It may need adjusting, cleaning, and/or other repair to continue to run continuously. The front and sides look nice with some loss to the gilding on the feet and the lion handles, the top shows wear and will need to be reconditioned. This original clock is a perfect addition to any antique collection and is sure to impress.
