Guitar teacher sells Sigma guitar - "A VERY SPECIAL" -
SDJM-18 Custom Slope shoulders from the Custom series, solid cites-free woods
This Sigma guitar received a very good test rating from Bruno Wolf in the 3/2022 issue of the trade magazine “guitar acoustic”. I have shown the test in the pictures for you to read!!
+ another 2nd test of this guitar by Franz Holtmann in the issue "acoustic guitar" 3/2023 (test also shown in the pictures!)
For info:““ This guitar NEW/NEW! (the first 5 pictures are original photos of the guitar)
Note: The Adirondack spruce top has a thicker grain. However, this has no influence on the sound. Adirondack spruces always have stronger grain. But they are always superior in sound to normal spruce tops!
Every long-time guitar enthusiast will be familiar with the Sigma brand (since 1970). It is all the more pleasing that - after a long production break - this brand is being built again.
All I can tell you from my point of view is that I have rarely held such well and precisely crafted guitars in my hands. They also sound extraordinary and the best thing is of course the price!! Price/performance really 1 A!
and this is what AMI-GmbH Munich writes (guitar wholesaler in Germany for over 40 years)
The Sigma story goes on…
It's a small sensation. Sigma-Guitars is at AMI-GmbH! AMI managed to acquire the rights to the Sigma Guitars name.Martin-Guitars sold under this name and with this logo in the 1970s until approx. 2002 first-class Far East versions of their legendary instruments. The survival of the name is assured, and the fact that many of the instruments are made by the same manufacturer as back then guarantees impeccable quality.
