Built on a foundation of three decades of rigorous research and development by the Wilson Benesch design team, the Precision Series embodies a gradual evolution of loudspeaker design, incorporating core Wilson Benesch technologies and trickle-down innovations from the reference Geometry Series.

TACTIC II Drive Unit with Isotactic Polypropylene: The P1.0 features an Isotactic Polypropylene cone, a material renowned for its high specific stiffness and superior damping properties. This choice ensures optimal cone performance, striking the perfect balance between rigidity and damping. Other materials, such as carbon fiber and ceramic, have been tested but found to introduce unwanted complexities in crossover design, making Isotactic Polypropylene the preferred material.

TACTIC II Drive Unit Design Philosophy: Wilson Benesch has long emphasized the importance of minimizing transient response time in drive unit design. To achieve this, the Tactic II drive unit leverages lightweight and stiff materials, powerful rare-earth magnets, and optimized structural design. The result is a near-optimal dynamic drive unit design, characterized as "lightning fast" and "one-third dynamic, two-thirds electrostatic" by the independent press.

Leonardo Tweeter: Developed iteratively, the Leonardo Tweeter offers a flat frequency response up to 24 kHz. It features a proprietary polymer-carbon fiber faceplate produced through cutting-edge 3D printing technology. Acting as a waveguide, the faceplate ensures optimal dispersion and phase characteristics for the Leonardo Tweeter, enhancing energy paths for acoustic and thermal energy while minimizing distortion.

Aluminum Top & Bottom Bracing: The Precision Series employs a multi-material hybridized structure developed over three decades. Precision CNC-machined aluminum caps secure the front and rear baffles with wooden side panels, optimizing rigidity and sonic integrity. Aluminum alloy bars brace the enclosure along the vertical axis, minimizing vibrations, and enhancing stiffness.

Internal Damping: The Precision Series design incorporates features that stiffen and damp the enclosure effectively. Tubular structures within the internal enclosure enhance both stiffness and damping along its horizontal axis.

Internal Enclosure Ties & Braces: Further stiffening and damping is achieved through threaded steel bars connecting the aluminum caps, baffles, and side panels. Torquing these bars creates a compressive force along the vertical axis of the P1.0 enclosure, minimizing resonance and ensuring sonic purity.

We ship all our orders from depot in the heart of Birmingham.
We provide FREE next day delivery on all of our UK orders, so long as you complete your order before 2pm (Monday - Thursday, Excluding Bank holidays). Orders placed on a Friday morning will be delivered on the Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday will be dispatched on the following Monday.

If you need an update on your order progress, please feel free to contact us directly.

  • For our UK orders we use DPD Couriers (Next Day Delivery) who provide a personal tracking numbers with a one-hour delivery slot on the day of delivery. For smaller UK orders we use Royal Mail (1st Class).
  • For our international orders we employ eBays Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Which is highly recommended for its costs and efficiency. All the international orders are sent to a GSP depot here in the UK, before onward international shipping. You will get emails updating you on the progress of your order throughout the delivery process

We do not allow local pick-up for eBay orders, but if this is necessary please contact us prior to making your purchase and we can make arrangements for you.

For combined shipping you will need to add the items to your basket before paying for them, and then we will send them out together. For international orders eBay GSP calculates the shipping cost, which normally charges extra for additional items based on weight.

We endeavour to ensure that 100% of our customers are completely satisfied and receive an excellent shopping experience; if for whatever reason you have any issues, please do not hesitate to contact us before opening any case(s).

  • We will always aim to do the best to resolve any issues
  • We will only pay the return delivery costs if the item was delivered wrong or it is faulty out of the box.
  • Any valid purchase made from us that carries a warranty, is ONLY valid in the UK. Therefore, if you have any problem that is covered by your warranty, you will have to return the item to us in the UK, at your cost.

For Returns:

  • The returns process must be started within 30 days of your initial order.
  • We ask all items that are returned to us be wrapped in outer material (brown paper, plastic, clear wrap, black wrap or anything similar) complete with their original packaging.
  • Any items that are damaged or have parts and accessories missing will be subject to a re-stocking fee or in some cases even rejected.
  • Please ensure you contact us before returning the item to obtain a returns reference.
  • You must also ensure you include your name, eBay ID, and the reason for the return; it will speed up the refund process.
  • All of the refunds are processed with the same payment method as the original purchase.
