A beautiful piece of true antique lighting, circa 1920's to 1940's.
This chandelier is HEAVY, made of solid bronze or solid copper (everything is non-magnetic and very heavy - see the sample scratch inside the ceiling canopy to show it is solid bronze or copper).
It has its original finish and has been recently rewired and new sockets installed.
The candle covers have an updated copper painted finish with some small rubs and scratches here and there, which won't be noticed when hung and lit.
No chips or cracks in the bronze, just some small rubs in the original finish here or there - nothing notable.
Use 5 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each or use LED bulbs for brighter light with low wattage.
The light bulbs and ceiling mount screws are not included.

This beautiful antique is from a large antique lighting collection in Fenton, Michigan - see and watch our store for more from this fantastic collection. Here are details about the restorer:
The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art. We are certainly proud to have acquired his amazing collection, as we also restore and sell antique lighting and love to share it with all of you who want true antique pieces that have historic personality in your homes and buildings. Many thanks to Bob's wife, Luce, for contacting us and allowing us to share his collection with the world! :)
