Vintage Cast Brass Battle Cat Tiger MOTU Figure Masters Universe He-Man Mount

(toy not included)

Beautiful Vintage Roaring Tiger.   This appears to be made in India.  The Battle Cat was used to make a mold to cast this brass figure.  In my research I found that this was common to use existing figures to make a mold to cast items in brass. The battle cat was a good candidate because of it's lack of joints. It lent itself well. This is why the brass cat is a bit smaller all around. These are limited out there and no one really knows how many were made. Each one has a little different look depending on how well it was casted and what shape the mold was in when it came to making that particular one.

Lots of character on this piece.  2lb 4oz  9" long 4" tall

Please check pics for condition and ask any questions. {Green battle cat toy in pics is from 1978 and is not included. shown here for comparison purposes.} Thanks for looking!

*Vintage Metals including Brass and Silver have age. They are beautifully unique. They will not be perfect, cookie cutter, or New. There will be some wear or flaws and each piece will have individual aging depending on it's life before I discovered it. To me, this adds to the character and history of the piece. I generally do not polish any of the metal items. I prefer the rustic look, and I know many others do as well. But if you prefer a shiny look you can use an appropriate cleaner to remove tarnish from Silver and to polish Brass and Bronze.  I leave this up to the Buyer to decide. I have a soft spot for Brass and you will find many pieces listed and likely many more I am working to get up for others to adopt and add to their collection. I scout for the most unique pieces I can find. If there is something in particular you are looking for just shoot me a message and I will be on the lookout for you*
