Rare vintage map that explores the rich history of the Old West with this incredible map of the Historic Forts of the region. This map was prepared by the Office of the Chief, Public Affairs, Sixth United States Army, Presidio of San Francisco, California, as a contribution to the celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the United States Army in 1975, and the Declaration of Independence in 1976.

The US Army has always played a critical role as the vanguard of freedom across the states. This beautifully designed map showcases the locations of these historic forts, providing a unique perspective on the events that shaped the region. 85 forts in all are represented.
