Rare Vogue Composition Vintage Mary Jane 13 inch Doll "MAKE-UP SERIES" - Blue Ink Spot Tag 1940's and Doll Stand -

She (Mary Jane) is wearing her original very beautiful doll clothes.  Notice that her jacket has a small hole and also her dress.  Her dress has a small spot and a very light stain.  Her hat, undergarment, shoes and socks are in great shape.  She has a full head of mohair that is nicely curled.  Her eyeslids open and close.  She is all composition. Her face, legs and some parts of her body have small crazing.  Her back has cracks in her composition which I read is common in some of the early composition dolls.  Her stringing is good. 1943-1944 Vogue Makeup dolls; Mary Jane doll 13" tall, Betty Jane doll 16" tall, all composition, jointed body, mohair wig, sleep eyes, open or closed mouth, came with a makeup bag tied to their wrist, dolls are marked with a number according to size 13 USA, 16 USA.
