This auction is for an Antique Sandwich Glass Electric Blue Glass Handed Toy Cup, c. 1835 - 1850. This is an early paneled glass toy cup with a paneled ellipse pattern, in electric blue glass. This cup is not illustrated or listed in any of our Sandwich glass books, but it is very similar to several pieces in our collection. This item comes from our collection and we were forced to downsize our collections when we moved into a condominium.

DIMENSIONS: The cup is 1 5/16" H. x 1 3/8" Dia..
CONDITION: The condition is very good with minimal wear and no damage. The early glass is full of bubbles and tiny white flakes, some dirt, and other flaws often found in early pressed glass. For a child's toy 170 years old that is still very good condition.
