Art Deco German Austrian Stylised Black & White Boy with Flowers Figure Book End

For sale is a very well crafted small statue that is marked as Foreign to the base. This tends to indicate Germany or Austria in the 1920s to early 1930s. He is VERY art deco in design. He has wear to his black glaze but he is not broken. I first thought he was holding a hat or a ball but it is a very stylised bunch of flowers & his gaze is a little bashful. Hes very charming as you can see. Such objects are heavily copied so its niec to see a real one from the period.
