Here's a vintage mug from the 1991 California Cup II annual event at Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, CA.  American thoroughbred horses bred or shired in Caliiforna compete in various stakes races.

This is a classic collectible mug with an unusual protruding embossed horse head with bridle on the top of the handle.  The glossy ceramic 4.5" tall mug is white with a smooth 3" diameter rolled rim and wide pedestal base. Blue letters decorates two sides identifying the event and its date.  It weighs 13 oz

Condition is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratches or discoloration. On the underside is a tiny divot that may be from manufacturing or a hard-to-find teeny chp, see last photo.  It's a cool souvenir for any horse-lover.

There is no backstamp.

Thanks for looking.
