I’m not a record grader, but I do have 1000s of classical, jazz, blues and rock records.

Here is what I use as a definition

Mint = sealed unopened

Near mint = opened but appears unplayed

Very good = light marks that do not affect play

Good = light scratches effect unknown


On these the covers and sleeves are not in good shape other than to identify the LP they have marks splits etc. the records are all “very good” and the worst marks are shown in pics.
