This MPC is in great condition!

Pads are solid & not faded, contacts worked perfectly the last time I’m played them.

New “blue” fader piece

Comes with the infamous 8 outputs already installed (with the digital as well).

Comes with power cord.

I’M also including a 100 MB ZIP DISK DRIVE, scsi cable for connection to the MPC & a couple Zip disks.

Unit is sturdy & has never been dropped or bumped up. It’s basically sat in my studio from the early 2000’s to now!

This AKAI MPC 2000 Sampler comes AS IS (the price reflects the work that’s needed on it!)

Here’s what it needs to get back working:

- OS floppy disk 💾 (it’s not reading the old one I have for some reason) (I’ve seen that you can replace the floppy drive with a compact flash drive & it’s not too expensive)

Here’s some things it needs to be bullet proof!

- there’s about 3-4 pixel lines from age (yu can still read the screen info, but a new screen would level up the unit to Avengers status! Lol)

- the “shift” button is a little stiff (it just needs to be cleans underneath and possibly a new contact installed)

FYI, I’m not a master at this machine & I’ve never gotten the sequencers “song mode” to work.

Im leaving all the cool stickers on the unit.

I’d do the repairs n sell it for much much more but alas, I have a rambunctious 11 yr old & I just don’t have the time to pour the love into this baby.

Also, this unit was (sold) passed down to me by MC Baba an Underground MC/poet/producer FROM NYC (also pretty famous in Australia, from the work he did with the Australian hip hop ensemble, Meta Bass & Breath.

Keep in mind, I’m one person, not a whole retail operation lol if the shipping cost is more then what the buyer pays, I’ll expect the buyer to pay the additional cost naturally, I’ll of course submit the receipt as proof & we’ll settle it via PayPal or Zelle or cash app lol
