Epiphone ET -270/275 tremolo arm. Genuine JIS threaded tremolo arm replacement. These tremolo arms have correct vintage  pre-1967 Japanese industrial standards metric threads.

Owners of vintage or unique instruments often test fit different tremolo arms when trying to find correct replacement arms. Unfortunately test fitting incorrect arms in the ferrule can cause damage to the internal threads of the ferrule making it so correct arms cannot fit easily/correctly. Always take caution when inserting a new tremolo arm, tremolo arms can become cross-threaded or stuck in damaged ferrule threads requiring excessive torque to insert the arm. Over torquing can lead to damage or even breakage. Never over torque the tremolo arm, the arm should insert easily. If your tremolo arm does not insert easily STOP,.. do not force it.
