For sale is "HARRY EDISON Swings BUCK CLAYTON and Vice Versa," on Verve Records MG V-8293, Mono, DG, 1958.

SOUND: VG+ or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The first cut  (A1) has a bit of light surface noise, not bad at all, well within "VG+" grade. The rest of the record has very clean and clear sound quality! A very nice playback.

VINYL: VG+
Both sides look quite clean and very nice condition, with one caveat: A small stain on cut A1. NOT a scratch, like I said, looks like a little drop of gunk. I soaked it in a drop of cleaning fluid and rubbed with a q-tip, but it is pretty stubborn. It COULD be removed with a little more effort, but I present it as is. The good news is, it plays through the entire area with only slight rhythmic crackle/tic. Very minor effect.

JACKET: VG
The top edge is completely split and the spine is half-split. The front and back covers are pretty clean and bright.

The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.

One noticeable flaw, the record still plays excellently overall! Buy-it-now for $20.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.

Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.

If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
