Vintage Mattel 1981 Ticker Tape Fever Handheld Electronic video game prototype.

This came from Robert Cowell, former engineer for Mattel.

It does not look as if this game was ever produced. This is a prototype that was apparently used for catalogs and possibly toy fair display.

It was poorly constructed and definitely has no working parts but according to Robert Cowell, only a two prototypes were made, this one and another silver model, neither made with working parts and only for display.
