Description: A copper-engraved, original antique strip road map from the mid 18th century. The sheet is printed on both sides and includes significant detail of place names and topographical features, with the route passing through numerous settlement including:
Plate 16: Newport, Cardiff, Swansea
Plate 17: Llanelli, Haverford West, St Davids
Cartographer / Engraver: John Senex (based on earlier road maps by John Ogilby)

Condition: Very good overall condition. Light age toning. Very mild fold crease to the centre of the sheet where the source publication was originally folded, probably within in a soft leather binding. Please study all the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
