Here we have a stunning and hard to find vintage cloisonne enamel brooch pin.  Made from gold tone metal with a geometric art deco style design of fans  with bright vibrant colours of cloisonne enamel in shades of orange,green,gold, black and grey  a brooch that is quite simply eyecatchingand makes a statement.  The brooch measures 2 1/2" inches across at the widest point by 1 1/2" inches in length 6.5cm across by 3.5cm in length and is sold in fabulous vintage condition.  The brooch has a secure roll over clasp and a lovely patterned finish to the back a fabulous brooch to suit any occasion!!!

What is Cloisonne.

Cloisonne is an ancient technique for decorating metal ware items.  Small individual cells are formed from metal which is then filled, making Cloisonne enamel involves filling these cells with powdered enamel which is then fired and polished.  Cloisonne enamel jewellery pieces are usually brightly coloured with beautiful designs.
