Very cool antique spelter metal nodder in the shape of a Chinese man, likely made in the early 20th century.

This nodder has a metal spring attached to the bottom of the head that allows it to nod back and forth when touched. The figurine is cast in spelter metal with excellent sharp detail, from his face to his brocaded robe, and it retains almost all of its original paint. He's standing with his arms crossed and tucked inside his sleeves with smiling face slightly bowed. The nodder figurine is attached to a thin metal ashtray.

It measures 4" tall by4" wide by 4" deep.

This antique nodder is in great shape, still works, and has no cracks or breaks. A wise investment for your desktop or display shelf. Get it.
