Beautiful antique "gasolier"
Stunning piece!
Excellent RESTORED condition!
An antique original piece made of solid brass and working well.
The brass has been polished & lacquered, 3 new sockets installed and the fixture has been freshly wired.
The glass candle covers are Uranium / Vaseline glass and glow under a UV light / black light.
They are covering the gas "candles" that were used when the electricity wasn't available (this chandelier was made during the time of the transition between gas and electric fixtures in homes, when electricity wasn't as reliable and gas was used as a back-up option).
The candles are decorative now, still attached to their gas pipes.
The glass shades have no chips or cracks and look amazing when lit.
They have a few tiny, normal "flea bites" around the edges, which are not noticed when in use.
The brass of the fixture has a couple of tiny repairs - nothing notable.
She uses 3 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like.
Ceiling mount screws and bulbs not included.
