Presenting an exceptional mid century Scandinavian art glass vase designed by the legendary Per Lutken for the quality Danish makers, Holmegaard circa 1960.

This stunning modernist heart-shaped piece is a part of the "Menuet" series.

This delightful little vase has been expertly hand crafted in an exquisite smoked grey coloured glass which is so wonderfully indicative of the period in which it was produced. Light reflects spectacularly off the stylishly curved, modernist form and the thick glass magnificently magnifies and distorts the light to create stunning visual effects.

This wonderfully sleek design would make a stylish feature atop a clean-lined piece of teak furniture. The exquisite design and quality of craftsmanship ensure this iconic Mid Century piece will remain forever timeless, never going out of style.

SIZE: This piece stands approx 60mms tall, measures approx 75mms in length and 55mms in width.

CONDITION: This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are some exceptionally minor rough spots to the rim of the base noticeable only on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. Light surface scratches to the quality flat ground polished base help authenticate this is a genuinely vintage example. This vase has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.

MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed to the base with an engraved mark reading "Holmegaard" along with the date of production "1960" flanking the designer Per Lutkens initials.
