A rare, collectable milled gold Guinea of King George the Third dated 1789. The obverse features the fifth laureate head facing right. The reverse shows crowned 'spade' shaped shield of Royal arms, representing King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Duke of Brunswick and Luneburg. This design bore to the infamous name of 'Spade Guinea'. This coin in about very fine condition would make a great addition to any numismatic collection.
