This is a lovely provincial spoon made in Cork in c1807 by Carden Terry and Jane Williams. It is in very good condition, unworn bowl, very clear hallmarks CT/IW Sterling, what makes this unusual is the shape of the handle just above the bowl, it looks French or Scandinavian style, I have never seen it before. It is 23cms long and weighs 66 grams,it has a nice period crest.

A rare Irish provincial spoon
