Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors, from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms.

Starting with the dial which is in its original, clean condition with clear and defined type. The 23x30mm 18ct gold case which is in a fair condition with light hairline marks and a light dink on the left side of the case. The case is fitted with its iconic sapphire set crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is a manually wound movement which is clean and running well. Please note that the case was polished by the previous owner which resulted in the markings on the back being removed. The glass has two light marks. We have opted to leave the glass on as we believe it is the original. The watch is fitted on a brown leather Cartier signed strap with a 18ct gold Cartier deployment buckle. This piece comes with a Cartier box.
