Rebound in strong green cloth with gilt lettering on spine, frayed at head and tail with traces of tape on the spine (see photo), owner inscription on endpaper, pages lightly yellowed on margins, internally good, overall a good copy of this scarce book.
Very important massive early book on electromagnetic radiation with applications to wireless telegraphy by the German physicist and engineer Jonathan Zenneck. One of the best and most comprehensive works on the subject at that time, unfortunately never translated in English, except for an abridged, greatly reduced, later work. Illustrated with many line drawings and diagrams.
This is the original edition, not a modern reprint.
Heavy volume, exceeding 2kg before packing, hence the high P&P quoted.
