The oil painting is the work of a talented artist. The painting is signed by the artist: Irma Keehn (whom I found reference to exhibiting a few times at the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1940s - see photos). The painting is painted on a Academy board panel (see photos). The painting is old and vintage. The painting is framed in a simple metal picture frame. The item is from an estate liquidation. This item measures in total framed about 16+ inches high, and it is about 23+ inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures about 16 inches high, and it is about 23 inches wide. This painting is sold in as is as found estate condition. The frame has some scuffs and wear. The painting has damage (a hole punched through the academy board panel, some paint loss, some scratches, scuffs and wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice original hand painted American landscape oil painting of what looks to be the New England area, possibly Massachusetts, to add to your collection.
