19th C. Treen Ware Salt or Spice Cellar, Turned Lignum Vitae
- For your consideration is a very beautiful antique treenware piece
- All turned from one piece of exotic wood, most likely lignum vitae, finely shaped salt cellar or spice urn
- Very appealing reins of dramatic colors and shades, light and dark
- Circa mid 19th century, possibly American, found in New England
- Measurements: Approx. 2.2" tall x 2.25" base diameter x 2" top diameter
- Condition: Very Good overall. Great old wood patina developed over time. A couple of very minor unobtrusive natural split lines, common on antique Lignum Vitae. Please see photos. All original
