  • For your consideration is a folk art handcrafted box, made of wood with intricate die-cut reticulated, open aka fret work ornamentation all over
  • Intricate design in Art Nouveaux taste
  • Made of a light to medium-colored wood, left unfinished
  • Old paper lining inside at the front, the top and one side
  • Note the Keyed Mortise and Tenon corner joint construction, a very interesting woodworking technique
  • Brass hinges
  • Antique American Folk Art, late 19th/very early 20th century

  • Weighs about 8 oz.
