Antique 18th /19th C. Ethnic Copper Vessel Hand Made Hanging Water Pot  Vase Large


  • For your consideration is an amazing antique hanging vessel
  • All hand shaped thick copper body attached to a hand wrought iron chain
  • The holding brackets are also made from hand forged iron
  • Please notice the early technique of joining the copper sheets
  • The double sided chain, the hook and the hoops are all original to each other
  • Intricate hexagonal vasi-form shape
  • Circa late 1700's/early 1800's, possibly made by Armenians in the Ottoman Empire
  • It came together with a smaller one, listed separately

  • Measurements: Approx. 17.5" with extended chain and hook, the pot only is 11" tall x 7" x 4.5" overall
  • Weighs about 2 lb. 10 oz. altogether

  • Condition: Very Good overall. Some shallow dents here and there on the body, oxidation on the iron, commensurate with age and use. Please see photos below. All original and unaltered
