- For your consideration is a very fine antique Pandan or Betel Nut Box, or Chapati container, all handcrafted from thick copper
- Tin-lined
- Cast swiveling top handle and front clasp, chain hinges on back
- Very fine, hand-tooled Repousse decoration all around with traditional floral patterns
- Characteristic domed form, tapering body with a widened base
- Antique, 19th century India
- Measurements: Approx. 14.5" diameter, 13" high with handle, 11" without it
- Weighs about 12 lbs. 2 oz.
