Antique 19th C. Raj Kashmiri Samovar Kettle Indo-British Grog Heating Pot, Brass & Copper


  • For your consideration is a very unique hot water coal heater, aka samovar kettle 
  • It was used for preparing grog, a hot alcohol beverage very popular in Victorian Britain
  • Made of heavy thick copper alloy sheet with brass fittings and elements 
  • Very elaborated, scrolled handle and brass finial on lid
  • Fine open work band on the base
  • Lidded spout, three feet
  • In functional order. Would look gorgeous polished
  • Circa mid/late 1800's, Indo-British, Kashmiri work
  • All original
