Antique 19th/20th C. Southeast Asia Round Bronze/Brass Gong w. Repoussé Dragons & Monkeys
- For your consideration is a very beautiful antique gong
- Hand hammered copper alloy with repoussé decorations, featuring characteristic for the Asian traditions creatures, two dragons and two monkeys and a sun medallion in the center
- Circa late 19th / early 20th century, Southeast Asia
- Measurements: Approximately 11.5" diameter (across) x 3" deep at the center; 1.5" at the border
- It weighs 1 lb. 1 oz.
- Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Most of the original tin lining inside is still retained. Great patina developed over time. All original.
