Reluctantly selling my beloved early Mark 1 Double Bridge Raleigh Grifter. If you are reading this then you will know the Double Bridge was the first Raleigh Grifter ever made between 1976 to 1977 and you will

also know just how rare these models are.

I am only the second owner and I have owned it for nearly 42 years. It was bought by my parents for my tenth birthday in 1982 for 30pounds. I am

moving house and won’t have the space in my new place so it has to go. The body has been professionally restored recently and all the gears and brakes function. Really want my baby to go to a good home…

The bike is in EAST YORKSHIRE YO25 near Driffield for genuine viewers. Any questions I’ll do my best to answer but am no Grifter expert so cannot guarantee to be able to answer technical questions sorry.

Apologies to all genuine watchers for relisting but having spoken to a expert he advised of the more appropriate starting price given its rarity. Am in no immediate hurry to sell and won’t be giving it away.

Bid with confidence - check out my faultless feedback.

And now for the boring bits…

You are bidding to buy not to come and pick fault. Bids from buyers with poor feedback or low numbers of exchanges will be removed. Messages asking “What will you take for her mate?”

will be ignored.

Cash on collection preferred please and the bike is not going anywhere until is paid for in full.

I am not a bike mechanic so the onus is on you the buyer to confirm the condition.

The bike is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to withdraw the auction at anytime.

Many thanks for looking and best of luck.

Tom
