Unusual jacket made in late 1970's for degree show at CSM london inspired by Tiger Tim annuals 

The embroidery features Tiger Tim - a fun character from the 1920's. 
Fabric is black pure wool bought from mill that produced fabrics for uniforms (Queen's guards) and also made fabric for billiard tables. Strong wool fabric which even the moth have failed to damage

Jacket also has a welt pocket and sleeves with light gathering at head.
Closes with two black plain buttons

Suitable for a special occasion - could be worn with trousers or skirt
